Inspired by the colors, forms, and textures encountered during a recent trip to Seville, the work involved reflecting on that lived experience by combining my memories of the city’s different hues with paint. The piece allows the viewer to take in a piece of this city’s spirit, even if he has never been there. This artwork has been varnished in gloss using professional and archival standards.
